The Flowers Were Always Grateful for Their Morning Chats grew from an imagined garden where the flowers have their own conversations before the rest of the world wakes up.

Layers of translucent color, loose botanical forms, and small gestures of pink move across the canvas, creating a garden that feels both familiar and entirely imagined. The composition shifts between recognizable leaves and blossoms and more abstract passages, allowing the painting to live somewhere between observation and invention.

I love the idea that flowers might have their own quiet rituals. Perhaps they gossip a little. Perhaps they compare notes about the weather. Perhaps they simply stand together in the morning light and enjoy one another's company.

This painting is a celebration of that imagined conversation.
