Thank you for inquiring about a potential commissioned painting. It is truly an honor to do this work and to spend my days painting. Creating art is deeply meaningful to me, and I value the relationships that form through the process of making a piece for someone’s home or collection.
That said, commissions require a particular kind of collaboration and trust. Healthy communication and mutual understanding are essential in creating a successful commissioned work.
As an abstract painter, I work in a fluid and intuitive way. Every painting emerges differently depending on where I am creatively, emotionally, and physically at the time of its creation. Because of this, I cannot recreate the exact same painting twice. Each piece carries its own composition, movement, brushwork, palette variations, and personality.
If you are drawn to a particular work but are interested in a different scale, palette, or general atmosphere, that can serve as a starting point for a conversation. However, the resulting painting will always be an original interpretation rather than a replica. Some paintings are meant to remain entirely singular and are not suitable references for commissioned work.
The most successful commissions come from collectors who connect not only to a specific piece, but to my broader artistic voice and are comfortable allowing space for creative freedom within the process. While I take great care to understand the overall feeling, palette, scale, and intention you are hoping for, part of the value of commissioning an original artwork is allowing the painting to evolve naturally into something unexpected and alive.
For this reason, commissions require trust, openness, and a shared understanding that the work must ultimately remain authentic to my creative practice. My commitment is always to create a piece with integrity, care, and the strongest possible connection to both your vision and my artistic instincts.
If this resonates with you, I would love to begin a conversation about creating something meaningful together.
